Abstract

Abstract: Da'wah communication cannot be separated from verbal and non-verbal messages, including body language. The harmony of verbal and non-verbal messages, including body language, is perfection in da'wah communication. Inconsistency between verbal messages and body language will result in different perceptions of da'wah messages. Ustadz Das'ad Latif in the video Kultum – Memuliakan Ramadhan Episode 4 was able to show the harmony of verbal messages and body language concistenly. This study takes the formulation of the problem how is the form of body language harmony of Ustadz Das'ad Latif in the video Kultum - Memuliakan Ramadhan Episode 4?. The aim is to describe the form of Ustadz Das'ad Latif's body language harmony in the video Kultum - Memuliakan Ramadhan Episode 4. Body language theory is used to describe expressions and gestures as well as the meaning of the body language. Conformity analysis is obtained by connecting verbal messages with the meaning of body language that appears. The results show that there is a harmony of body language forms such as affirmation, indicating location, and making symbolization. Inconsistencies were also found, such as when creating symbols that did not match the verbal message.
